Hill Country Brings Texas To Brooklyn

Ever been to Austin? Even if you haven't, we've got some of it right here in Downtown Brooklyn! Hill Country honors the barbecue and live music capital of Texas and takes its cue from the legendary legendary meat-markets-turned-barbecue-joints of Central Texas with their distinctive, dry-rub style. Read the reviews and check out photos from the event here.

Some of Brooklyn's finest Yelpers hit up this gigantic, smoky spot last night. As Adam S says, "This event... leaves me speechless. I am a Texan, and Hill Country represents Texas... I'm a huge fan of BBQ, especially Texas BBQ, and tonight's food was decadent. All so good." With Bennett Jackson playing some tunes, and burnt ends circulating the heavenly-scented and amazing private space upstairs, this was one to remember.

Don't worry if you missed out on this event, these folks are slangin' amazing BBQ and rocking live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A huge thanks goes out to Sarina, Brian, and the rest of the Hill Country staff for inviting us out and throwing a kickass party. I know I'm coming back for another Pitmaster's Special (even though I had one last night) and more live music ASAP, so I'll see you all over there!
