As part of our 'Yelp Manchester Fine Dining Month' we invited 20 lucky Elite Yelpers to the fantastic Michael Caines Resturant @ Abode for an evening of fine dining, paired wines and an interative dessert making experience with their executive chef team.
Starting the evening with some tasty prosecco in their private dining room, we enjoyed chatting with Yelpers old and new before taking our seats in the dining room for a wonderful slow poached salmon, followed by loin of lamb and a really well cooked boulangere potato.
After we'd had these tasty treats we all got up and learned how to assemble and decorate a professional dessert plate - with definite mixed results across all of our Yelpers plates but it was great fun and how many chances do you get to use a blowtorch on an Elite event!?!
A very special thanks to Natalie at Abode who worked tirelessly to make this happen and the whole waiting staff and kitchen team for making it the perfect evening.
Thanks also to Nic Rezzouk at Reserve Wines of Didsbury for selecting some excellent wines for the evening!
