Sacramentans rose above the white hot summer heat during Yelp's Great White Heights, a white-attire themed party on the spacious 25th floor of the Park Tower, with stunning 360-degree, floor-to-ceiling views of the city below. Yelpers of all stripes came dressed in their best whites to enjoy food, drinks and entertainment from 26 different local vendors! Check out the reviews and photos!
For perhaps the first time in Yelp event history, the party's biggest highlight was outside. As one of Sacramento's tallest buildings, the Park Tower provides a birds-eye perspective on the "City of Tree." Indoors, people mingled and munched while sipping wine, beer, iced tea, kombucha, and trying out various beauty offerings. The DJ'd rhythms added the perfect beat to the festivities.
Best of all, the party served as a fundraiser for the Food Literacy Center, which promotes community food education and works to fight childhood obesity. $3,337 was raised on top of a lot of awareness for this important cause!
Special thanks go to the Downtown Sacramento Partnership for their sponsorship and support, the Food Literacy Center volunteers for their hard work putting the event together and all the wonderful vendors who connected with the hand-selected group of social media mavens in attendance.
