LA East's Musical Eats At Guitar Center Hollywood

Screen Shot 2014-06-02 at 1.17.52 PM

LA East Elites were taken on a magical mystery tour of Guitar Center's “Music Mentor Program” on Sunday, June 1st! Guests dabbled in free mini lessons/demos of guitar, ukelele, drums, DJ mixing from an iPad, and even got to see the inside of a recording studio. Along the way, they picked up bites inspired by each "instrument" with boom box chocolates, DJ macarons, hot dogs with ukelele condiment art, deviled egg guitar picsk, and shots (that were bound to induce pounding headaches!). Eric Clapton's guitar was even flown in just for the occasion and prominently displayed for the evening! As if it wasn't enough to feel like musical prodigies, Guitar Center Hollywood generously raffled off a guitar, bongo drum set, ukelele, headphones, and an iRig. Although everyone didn't go home with a musical instrument of their very own, everyone was a winner thanks to the $20 GC they were gifted on their way out! Read the reviews here.
