Posted by Candice Gatlin

Yelp Chicago 'Burbs elites dressed the part and channeled their inner dapper Don Draper, beauteous Betty, and of course, Joanie girl at three different Eddie Merlot's locations in Lincolnshire, Burr Ridge, and Warrenville to indulge in exceptional prime aged steaks, an extensive selection of the finest wines, and seasonal cocktials for Yelp's Chicagoland's Gone Mad (Men) Elite Event.

"What an event! Hubby and I were quite impressed. We even talked about hosting a party in the same venue next summer." ~Jody B

"Highlights of the evening included the fatty, delicious Bourbon-marinated prime ribeye steak and the bananas foster. I will definitely return to Eddie Merlot's to try out their other menu offerings." ~ Kim B

"Throughout the night we had three demonstrations of the menu preparations starting with the cocktail mentioned above, then a rather elaborate beet salad and finally a rather spectacular duo of flaming bananas foster. Evidently, the place specializes in this classic tableside presentations, which for me is a definite draw." ~ Kevin N

"My personal favorite out of the appetizers are Calamari and Asparagus. Calamari was very tender and just seasoned perfectly. Asparagus was surprised delicious in the lighted breaded and fried cooking style." ~ Jie S

"This ultra classy event was absolutely magical. From the moment we walked out of the cold & into the warm, cozy & inviting party, we were greeted with wine by the amazing Yulvia. She & all the servers and staff were outstanding, it has been a long time since we have received that high quality of care, and service, it sadly seems to be a rarity in today's day and age." ~ Ashley P

"The banana foster was quite a grand finale.  This dessert, with all of it's rum and butter and brown sugar glory ala mode, was just fantastic.  The food was fantastic and the company was equally was wonderful." ~ Misty S

A very special thanks to photographer & videographer Andres D, the only man crazy enough to brave 3-nights of retro-inspired delights with us Yelp Chicagoland-ers and Eddie Merlot's.
