Over 100 Yelpers, mostly brand spankin' new to the site, gathered at the Pittsburgh Public Theater for the Second Annual Yelp Helps. Pittsburgh has such a strong array of Non-Profits, this event is a natural fit in the community, and with just about 20 NPO's present, there was a plethora of info to share!
Guests were able to chat up NPO's to get the deets on vulnteering and programming. Many walked away with an array of info and a warm fuzzy feeling inside! Shout out to our wonderful participating Non-Profits: American Liver Foundation, Assemble, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Bike Pittsburgh, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Science Center, The Children's Home, Gilda's Club, HEARTH, Hollywood Theater, MCG Jazz, National Ovarian Cancer Society, Pittsburgh Cares, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Pittsburgh Zoo, Pulse and the Toonseum.
With all this info gathering we can't let guests go hungry or thirsty, right?! That's why we had Gluuteny, The Capital Grille, Luke Wholey's Wild Alaskan Grille, Pittsburgh Pie Guy, Stone Neapolitan Pizzeria, The Milk Shake Factory, Pastitsio, The Sharp Edge and Mitchell's Fish Market serving up some grub. On hand with the refreshing drinks were Maggie's Farm Rum, Full Pint Brewing Company, Crabbies Ginger Beer, Natrona Bottling Company and Roundabout Brewery.
A big thank you to Pittsburgh Public Theater for hosting this shindig once again, the incredible Non-profit community and all the awesome food and drink sponsors for treating Yelpers to such a fantastic evening! Also, thanks to Ray Miles Creative for the fab photo's that you can check out here.
