Have you had a chance to check out the Horsefeathers Building or the Winter Market yet? No? What are you waiting for? Hundreds of Yelpers recently came out on 12/07 for a special Saturday version of the Winter Market where different farmers and local businesses offered holiday gifts such as Biscotti Treats, Jam Preserves, Buffalo-Shaped Cookies, Specially-roasted Buffalo Coffee, Organic Dog Treats (for your dog, of course) and much, much more (tasty treats).
If you missed your chance, be sure to check out their Yelp page and head one of these Saturday's! In the picture above, you saw baby goats dressed in Santa Suits, Biscotti for Everybotti, Arrowhead Spring & Wine who were just among some of the vendors involved! Guests also enjoyed local wine from Chateau Buffalo, gluten free treats from Simply Sweet, goat milk soap (and little samples) from Alpine Made and much much more!
Guests sampled delicious food from Martin Cooks, with their crostini's topped with pâté, scrambled goat cheese and a poached pear on top. Among some of the other vendors, Jolie had delicious dumplings (yum!) and Blackbird Sweets had mini-cupcakes for people to try. Public Espresso, a new Buffalo roastery was on site doing pour-over coffee and selling beans by weight.
This is what just some of the reviews mentioned:
Paul F: "Horsefeathers Market brings a number of specialty cafes and restaurants together, and even provides indoor space for local growers and producers to sell their products - whether it be organic eggs, or organic apple cider, you can find the best of the best - and healthier choices in this marketplace."
Christa P: "This was such a fantastic event! We were so glad to be able to stop in first thing in the morning. Great vendors and locations. Everyone was so friendly and we got some great things! Delicious hot chocolate from Chow Chocolat, goat milk soap and yogurt, super fresh and green kale, pumpkin spice biscotti from Biscotti For Everybotti!"
