Brrrrr! This cold spell calls for a happy hour that can warm you up, and Tiago's Cabo Grille has just the solution. Last Tuesday, Elites gathered around signature small bites, the Patrón Perfecta Margarita, the uber famous Mexican chocolate cake, and of course, holiday cheer for Holiday Happy Hour in the Tropics!
Things started off on the right note for Vinny H. "One of my key indications of great food is the chips and salsa, and Tiagos hit it, spot-on perfection. Those are some of the freshest, tastiest, light and crunchy chips I've had!" Then there was the delicate and citrusy ceviche and lightly fried and seasoned to perfection calamari. Then, there came the flautas and Chris A has something to say,"my usual encounters with flautas leaves me yearning for a flauta with less tortilla and more of the goodness inside. Tiago's flautas had the filling. The shredded chicken with just a pinch of heat, along with the not-overly crunchiness of the tortilla, made for a very delicious flauta."
All of this washed down with the shaken La Perfecta Margarita comprised of Patrón Citrónge, generously provided by our party parnters Glazer's. In addition to some special Patrón tees and swag, each guest left with their very own Taigo's margarita shaker in-hand. And is if we hadn't stuffed our bellies full enough, we had to make room for the decadent and famous Mexican chocolate cake, served with cinnamon ice cream. San Antonio Holiday flavor at its finest!

Our official photo album is up on our Yelp San Antonio Facebook page, thanks to Steven Starnes Photography. Thanks Tiago's for sending us off to the Holiday season with one last Elite gathering for the year. I now know where my pre-movie dinner destination is...
Until 2014, Elites!
