Yelp SF's Yelp In The Hundred Party @ SOMArts
Yelp In The Hundred: A SF yelper party. With The 100 (aka SoMa) being well known for being the Capitol of drunken debauchery in the late 19th century, the rise of underground arts, blue collar workers & now tech innovation, this was a celebration of all those things along with local restaurants in SF.
The sausage king Rosamunde alongside a beef jerky bar by Krave, La Fromagerie's specialty cheese, a cured cerrano ham being sliced by Dixie. Creperie St. Germain debuted new menu item mini-crepes, while wine pub Jamber served potato tot balls with bacon jam. The Frozen Kuhsterd minds showed off their new craft cotton candy, Sugar & Spun. Then, Yelp Platform partners EAT24 & delivery.com arrived in style. Eat24 through the night delivered Pizzelle di North Beach, Golden Kim Tar, Sparky's 24 hours Diner, and Yama Sushi. Then, when guests arrived delivery.com brought nearly 1,500 cupcakes. And Postmates joined in on the deliveries by bringing nearly 1,000 Bob's Donuts. Food. Period. Paragraph.
Best Beverage Catering hosted a full bar with Campari America's Espolon tequila, Wild Turkey bourbon, and Skyy vodka. The beer garden beers from Speakeasy, Calicraft, and Ninkasi. The Family Winemakers of California Festival presented Taplin Cellars & Bravium winery. Drinks. Period. Paragraph.
With our host SOMArts being a non-profit, yelpers raised $6,112 for the arts collective. Cello Joe, the one-man beat boxing cello player hosted the music, which was entirely powered by yelpers pedaling on his bicycle. Guests took part in an interactive art exhibit. The Lords of Print were on hand for live screen printing. Oh, and Mark Twain showed up who said "gee, the yelpiest winter I've ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."
San Francisco yelpers, we love you.
With love from Mark Twain,
And now... a photo scroll from the night. Enjoy!
