As Elites filed in they were treated to Bonarda Wine and Kiss Mix cocktails so they could, you know, get the "creative juices" flowing. Pretzel Crisps served 7 styles of pretzels along with dips providing the perfect snack to munch on as our Picassos-to-be took their seats in front of a blank canvas on an easel.
Equipped with a "mama" brush, "papa" brush, four colors (white, black, blue and yellow) and instructions from the owner Anna, Elites put the brush to canvas and put down the first layer of a beautiful sunset scene with palm trees - so South Florida! First the sky, then the sun, followed by the water and finished off with palm trees. There was flexability to make it your own and some even added a mermaid, boat or dinosaur - yep, a dinosaur!
As the masterpieces had the finishing touches put on them Fabrizio, an artist at Painting With A Twist, was kind enough to paint out a Yelp burst for us. Elites then dipped their fingers in paint and left their thumb prints on the burst.
The night ended on a sweet note as all in attendence devoured sugary goodness from Sweetness Bakeshop including key lime pie shooters, guava cheesecake shooters, guava cupcakes and vanilla cupcakes.
Live and in color,
Pinky & Blue A
