Yelp's Pre-Oktoberfest Bash!
Tulsa Elites and guests were treated to a private event with live music, an array of beer tastings, and an authentic German food spread at Fassler Hall on August 14 for Yelp’s Pre-Oktoberfest Bash! With the venue all to themselves, Yelpers were able to kick back and have a blast at one of downtown Tulsa’s most beloved Blue Dome District beer halls. Mark Gibson and Ryan Magnani even took the stage and shared their soulful singer-songwriter pure talent!
Fassler Hall, approaching it’s third birthday, is a German-style beer hall designed after the great beer halls of Munich Germany. Brian Fontaine, the general manager, knows how to create an intoxicatingly fun space with authentically good food and drink. Live local and national acts circuit through on the weekends and the party-ready space is available for renting... and they cater their delicious food!
Elites and their guests were treated to some of Fassler Hall’s best brews including the Warstiener Oktoberfest, Black Mesa ESB, and Widmer Scotch Ale. While tasting, they could ask the bartenders about the 17 beer taps that live at Fassler Hall which focus on German, local, and some American craft beers.
The word ‘schmorgesborg’ barely encompasses the spread of German food which was overflowing to fill the bellies of Yelpers. The beautiful spread included: mini bratwurst with homemade sauerkraut and homemade mustard, mini bacon-wrapped chili cheese dogs, duck fat fries, and warm german pretzels. To top if off, there was a homemade sausage sampler with lamb, sweet italian, habanero chicken, andouille, beer, and cheese options.
Many, many thanks to Tulsa’s Elite Yelpers and guests for coming to Yelp’s Pre-Oktoberfest Bash! Another huge thanks to our event photographers, Andria Whipple & Cheyenne Butcher, for capturing us Yelping it up at the photobooth and mingling. To Mark Gibson and Ryan Magnani, you have some new Yelpy fans of your music –thank you for sharing it with us! And, of course, the incomparable Fassler Hall –cheers and thanks for your generosity!
See you in the hoppy place!
