The Yelp Perth Elite Squad were lucky enough to be invited to attend the Perth International Comedy Festival's Comedy Allsorts - a showcase of local talent at its finest; handpicked and selected to create a rollickin’ good time. Western Australia has a burgeoning local comedy scene that produces some of the nation’s finest comedic talent, guaranteeing a barrel of homegrown laughs for the Yelper’s bellies!
Last night Yelpers arrived at The Yalumba Jack High Comedy Club at Mt Lawley Bowling Club, and a glass of Yalumba wine helped them warm up on what was a very stormy evening.
The Elites got to hang out in the VIP area before the show,
tuck into some of the Mt Lawley Lawn Bowls tasty platters and even got to chat to a
celebrity comedian or two!
Everyone took their seats in The Laugh Locker room, which was where they sat in hysterics for the next hour and a half. Corey White emceed the evening and had everyone in stitches along with Laura Davis, Sarah Young, Adam Peter Scott and more hilarious locals.
A huge round of applause is well deserved for Emma, Shannon & Jo at the Perth International Comedy Festival for organising such an awesome event for the Yelp Perth Elites. High fives to all the comedians who appeared and are responsible for our sore tummies from all of last night's laughter.
Until next time, SYOY (See You On Yelp!)
