Fuggedaboutit! It's An Italian Social at Sotto 13
What is an Italian social, you ask? Well, Sotto 13 describes their dining scene as 'Social Italian'. It's about sharing great food and cocktails in a fun atmosphere with friends or strangers... which we all know are just friends we've yet to meet yet. All of their small plates, pizza and pastas are designed to share a variety of tastes along with their signature, fresh cocktails and wine. And this past Monday, Manhattan yelpers were treated to a firsthand look.
Some of the select menu items included fig Crostini, bruschetta, chickpea fries, meatballs, cannelloni, lamb spedini, garlic shrimp, mushroom truffle pizza, Brussels sprout pizza, sausage and onion pizza, rigatoni ragu pasta, and truccioli and shrimp pasta. Needless to say, it was a feast.
The food and drink stuffs weren't the only thing to shine, as explained by Dorie L: "The décor and ambiance were nothing short of spectacular with an intimate seating arrangement near the front end of the restaurant and a more social gathering setup in the middle and the back. The lighting, the seating, the tables, the setup all screamed classy."

A great event! The servers and management staff at Sotto 13 were so sweet and gracious about everything. I will definitely be back soon to try their $25 AYCD brunch!
