Manhattan's Halfway To Summer Soiree Brings The Heat
Sure, Nemo was just nipping at our noses, but that didn't stop hoards of Manhattan Yelp Elites from ushering in the summer lovin' this past Monday at Tavern 29. Tropical drinks courtesy of our pals at Bulldog Gin, along with suds from Lagunitas IPA, inflatable palm trees, leis for all, and a soundtrack ripe with The Beach Boys, Jack Johnson, Dick Dale (just to name a few) were the elemental ingredients for an epic February beach bash.
If you're not yet a regular at Tavern 29, what are you waiting for? It's high time to get to know this nifty little hang North of Madison Square Park. T29 is spread over two floors of a 19th century townhouse-turned-firehouse with a rooftop beer garden. They offer over 30 craft beers that change on a weekly basis, a seasonal cocktail menu, and a large food menu that offers lunch, brunch, dinner, and small plate options. Soon celebrating their 1 year anniversary, be sure you become acquainted with them as they embark on their 'terrific twos!'
Pictures will be coming very soon, but in the meantime, check out reviews of the summer hang here. Surfs up!
