Yelp's "Red and White Masquerade" Elite Event
Masks were in high fashion this past Tuesday in Lake Forest as lucky Elites gathered at The Wine Artist for Yelp's "Red and White Masquerade" event. The venue generously provided beer and wine as well as a wide variety of desserts to nibble. Teresa C proclaimed, "The plethora of red velvet/cheesecake desserts were not only pretty, but tasty! MJ, your red stained hands were worth it! I didn't try anything that I didn't like. Kudos to you!"
Stonefire Grill was on hand with delicious apps such as their new quinoa Healthy Start Salad, tri-tip steak and creamy pesto pasta. Kristin C "was totally amazed and impressed that quinoa is on their menu" and "even though its healthy for you, it was pretty tasty!"
Our non-profit partner of the night, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Orange County were there spreading the word on their great cause. Not only were Yelper's interested, they were excited to volunteer. Jimmy N wanted "to thank Melissa at Big Brothers Big Sisters of OC for doing a quick presentation and bringing to our attention the organization." He was "super inspired after the event" and "signed up first thing the next morning."
To end the night on an even higher note, guests were allowed to bottle their own wine as a souvenir. Elites excitedly gathered around as Jamie from The Wine Artist gave a quick tutorial and set them loose to create their Cranberry Chianti concoction. Teresa S professes that "being a wino, I was stoked that we'd be bottling our own wine and it was a seriously cool experience! The step-by-step bottling process we each got to perform was so cool!"

I want to also say thanks to Meg Strouse and Albert Evangelista for their amazing photos!
As always, I had so much fun hanging with you all.
Until next time,
