A Chile Autumn Evening In Albuquerque At El Pinto
On Thursday, Albuquerque Elites peeled out for some heat and roamed the El Pinto patio grounds for the inaugural Elite Event in the 505. The establishment, best known for hosting international dignitaries and celebrities, got downright local and provided an evening of tastings, tours and slow-cooked boar. It's going to be hard to top!
Guests were invited to don their harvest and peeling gear (if ya don't know, you aren't local), and upon enterance were treated to table-side fresh guacamole, irrisitable chile con queso and a tasting of thier exclusive oak-barreled premium reposado tequila from Herradura. From there they were led to the patio grounds where they obliterated a pinata stuffed with shwag.
After a brief tour of their salsa facility and an introduction to the owners, yelpers returned to the restaurant to gorge on succulent pork, signiture chile-rubbed ribs, empanadas and other dishes. Prizes were handed out, new friends were made and the tradition of 5-star events began in one of Albuquerque's most storied venues. Raise a glass for Yelp ABQ!
