Yelp Milwaukee's Oktoberfest Extravaganza!

Here in the four-one-four, we've got some serious German roots. With bier gartens and litres a-plenty, you know we're celebrating Oktoberfest in style in MKE... and that's exactly what Milwaukee elites and yelpers did this past Saturday at Von Trier – an amazing, historic German beer hall on the city's east side.

Yelp's Oktoberfest Extravaganza truly rocked our beer loving socks off: with tasting tables from Lakefront Brewery, Sprecher, Furthermore Beer, Capital Brewery, and New Belgium, we certainly weren't want for options! Von Trier provided an amazing spread of bites as well – from the requisite locally-sourced cheese and sausage to smatterings of their small-plate offerings. 

Vern & the Originals were rocking super-authentic, super-fun llive polka for the duration of the event, and Shutterbox Photobooth was on hand with their set-up allowing folks to get goofy with their Oktoberfest 'staches and brews outside in VT's charming bier garten.

This Yelp's On Tap wrap-party was a blast – and after a city-wide week of discounted craft brews from Rumpus Room, Burnhearts, Blackbird, INdustri, Sabbatic, County Clare, Von Trier, Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub, Nomad and Roman Coin (as well as happy hours and pub crawlin') what better way to celebrate Oktoberfest in the Mil than with a stellar shindig of epic, dirndl-tastic proportion?
