Yelp Cincy's Cheers to Chocolate Elite Event!

CHOCBLOG1
Chocoholics unite! Yelp Cincy's community gathered together for a sneak peak preview of The Cincinnati Chocolate Festival Monday night. There were delicious hor d'oeuvres, beer, wine, chocolate martini's, and a spread of chocolate that was out of this world!

It was Yelp's Cheers to Chocolate Elite Event at the EQ Cooking School inside the Party Source. The night began with a chocolate feast! Chocolate concoctions from Sweet Petit, Ruth Hunt, Aglamesis Brothers’, Edible Arrangements, Graeters, Esther Price, J. Annette's Cheesecakes, Cupcake Crazy, Chocolats Latour, and the Spice & Tea Exchange were all present at this chocolatey fiesta!

Jackie S is in sugar shock, "Choc-tastic choc-mania that set a new bar for chocoholics everywhere! I still haven't picked my jaw up off the floor since I saw the display of chocolate bon-bons and drinks available last night!"

From truffles, to cupcakes, cheesecakes, and even chocolate's with chili flakes, we had it all!

Save room for the savory items! The EQ Cooking School also chimed in with chocolate themed appetizers including Coffee and Ancho Chili Crusted Beef Tenderloin topped with Maple Sweet Potato Puree, Cocoa Nib & Pecan Crusted Goat Cheese, Chocolate Chip Banana Bread, and Pulled Pork Sliders with a Hint of Cocoa.

GROVER

But don't forget to wash it down with Grover's infamous Godiva martini. After that demo, Sam T "already has plans to make it at home!" SO good!

Yelpers also got to choose to pair their chocolate with an awesome Coconut brew f rom the local Great Crescent Brewery, or a deep chocolately red from Carnivor.

DRINKS

We closed the night by raffling off two pairs of free tickets to the Cincinnati Chocolate Festival and sending Yelpers home with full and happy tummies!

"Delectable, Fabulous, Magnificent, and Delicious are all words I experienced tonight at this sweet event and Cincy Cindy was the perfect hostess!" Why, thank you Ann L!

ENDBut don’t just take our word on the night’s awesomeness, you can read all the reviews right here. You can also check out the other cool pics by photographer extraordinaire Anna Penny on the Official Yelp Flickr page!

A special thank you to Amy Tobin and her team at the EQ Cooking School, our wonderful sponsor The Cincinnati Chocolate Festival, as well as all of the amazing chocolate vendors that allowed us to sample your delicious goodies. It truly was a treat!

Until the next bite, See You on Yelp!
