Vegas Yelpers Nerdy Danced All Night Long
They say the geek shall inherit the earth, and so they did this past Wednesday at Wish Vegas. With suspenders snapped, glassses taped, and loafers polished, they also inherited the dance floor. Nerdy Dancing II: Revenge of the Robot went down, and it went a little something like this.
The first 100 dorks through the door got the evening started right with a complimentary Charlie The Chip Pocket Protector from Fry's Electronics. And putting their technological talents to work, they checked in to the party on the Yelp App to earn their "Geek Badge" and a complimentary nerdy pick up line. (Rumor has it those lines came in handy!) On the patio, guests were greeted by The Balloonmaster's Show complete with balloon art and one tough raccoon game. Who knew digging through trash cans was so challenging?
And, boy were there some delicious snacks from Bootlegger Bistro, Mix N Mac, Sin City Cupcakes, Sin City Snoballls and Snacks, Those Guys Pies, Nacho Daddy, Hi-Chew, B Sweet Candy Boutique, and Garrett Popcorn all washed down with tasty beverages from Adult Chocolate Milk and Jones Soda.
The bespectacle didn't stop there! We Go Gamez brought out Dance Central 3, and LV Photo Party was in the house with a green screen photo booth! Peep all those photo op shots here. Hypnotic Salon got everyone ready for their time in front of the camera with nerdy makeovers.
And given that A. It was a Nerdy Dancing party, and B. Wish is the newest spots for locals to cut a rug, there was a dance party going on curated by DJ Charlie Darker. Geeky guests even took the dance floor to compete in a Gangnam Style VS Robot Dance Off with prizes provided by Max Pawn, Floss Dental, Cheyenne Dental and Hypnotic Salon. The final dance off was a tie proving that it's hard to choose just one favorite nerdy dance move.
Perhaps Anthony M sums up the five star evening best, "Last year's Nerdy Dancing was one of my most favoritest events, and Nerdy Dancing II was even more favoritester than the last." Until the third time, Yelp Long And Prosper,
