St. Louis Elites Keep it Spooky at Yelp's All Hallows Eve!

Last Wednesday, one of the coolest events we’ve had in St. Louis went down at the Collective at the MX: Yelp’s All Hallows Eve. What is the Collective, you ask? Think of it this way… tons of your favorite stores all in one place. It’s a retail co-op space where local businesses can rent a spot to sell their (highly coveted) goods. The reason this party was so special is because Yelp Elites got to check it out before it was even open to the public! Since our event date was October 17th, it was the perfect opportunity to have a Halloween party… and party we did. Over 70 elites and guests came out in costumes ranging from cows, to the Little Mermaid, to a bathroom wall (seriously!) and more. Needless to say, it was quite an impressive scene.

There was no shortage of local food at this party, and it was pretty darn special to see some cool local restaurants come together to help celebrate. Pi Pizzeria was on hand dishing out some of their best pizza, Tani Sushi Bistro represented with some sushi, and Robust Wine Bar served up several of their gourmet eats while chatting with guests all evening. Pi is already in the MX building, Robust's second location is on its way, and Tani's sister restaurant Takaya will be opening shortly! Elites enjoyed two complimentary drinks all evening created by Pi and served up by our awesome bartenders Chris & Tonya, and let's just say the liquid courage led to some very... lively dancing!

For those who needed a little something added to their costume, Jessica Dana was on hand to paint faces and keep the party festive! Meanwhile, Marc Mendolia from Rockstar DJs kept the Halloween music coming all night long and even encouraged some elites (shout-out to Stephen W and Christine F) to bust a serious move. Frontyard Features was also on hand and projected "Night of the Living Dead" on the wall to add even more of a creepy factor to our bash!

As always, it was such a blast to see so many elites come out to enjoy a great new local spot. We truly have some incredible yelpers in St. Louis and it seems like every party is more fun than the last. To read even more about All Hallows Eve, check out the reviews on the event page! Also, don't forget to peep the full spread of photos on Yelp's Flickr. Special thanks to Jessica Priest from Brea Photography for documenting the whole evening on camera, and to every person who came together to make this event happen including Nicole Benoist (owner of the Collective), and her awesome employees Lauren and Rafeeq. Also, huge props to Jay Swoboda for creating this video that shows the complete set-up and execution of the event by taking a photo every minute. Pretty cool!

Until the next one, SYOY (see you on Yelp!)
