Salt Lake City Yelpers Take A European Tour At Cafe Bella Rue
Hey Sparky! Grab your suitcase and pack your toothbrush, Salt Lake City Yelpers have embarked on National Yelpoon's European Vacation at the seriously sweet Café Bella Rue in South Jordan. Wearing their best (worst?) souvenir t-shirts and tacky, touristy Hawaiian shirts they were off to the Old World.
The tour began in their bellies. With Tuscan Turkey sandwiches and creations including the Maserati and Ferrari, Yelpers began to fill up. Then thin crust pizza hit the tables and the tour got kicked into high gear. The open gelato bar, Italian sodas, smoothies and coffee put some serious mileage on the stretchy pants, and the bar served French Absinthe, Bellinis from Italy, Pimm's Cups from England and German Radners. Rob the tour guide (and owner of the café) gave everyone a good feel for the past, present & future of Bella Rue.
With the party in full swing, it was time to do some sightseeing. Instead of dusty art museums, Yelpers created their own work of art by replicating piece by piece Botticelli's famed "Birth Of Venus." While they were out sightseeing, each guest had their photo taken for a postcard that would be mailed to them post-event. Wish you were here!
Like all good vacations, this one seemed to end too early. Back to the real world. Back to the grind. But you can relive the memories with the photos here or read the travelogue (event reviews) here.
Adios, Ciaou, Auf Wiedersehen!
