Providence Elites Voyage to India!

Last night, a gorgeous group of Yelp PVD Elite took a magic carpet ride through flavor town at India Restaurant for Yelp's Hooray for Bollywood Bash, where we were spoiled with exotic cuisine and refreshing cocktails for an evening like naan other.

"Damn. India Restaurant is so much more than" Lizz W expected. "Beautiful patio (like, amazing patio) and wonderfully decorated inside." It certainly was "an excellent place to be on a cold, rainy night. It was so warm and cozy inside, both in terms of decor and people." Vilay S "loved the variety of samples," including Veggie Samosas, Chicken kabobs, Panner and veggie skewers, "since it was stuff that was all new" to her tastebuds. The Grilled Pesto and Portabella Naan Pizza "was excellent," according to Steve L, whose favorite part of the evening may have been "the excellent Bollywood films flashing on the main dining room projector." Jai Ho!

The spicy Beef Kofta meatballs were Victor K's "favorite because they had a kick" and paired perfectly with "that pack of mango flavor" in the frozen mango cocktail. It was soooo goooood, Vic wished he'd "had more than two tickets for another!" 

"The intimate setting and delish passed apps" made for a fabulous time, as well as "the great conversation amongst fellow yelp-ers" that's always the draw for S Nicole M. "It needs to be said that this is probably one of most beautiful places to have dinner in Providence – so intimate, cozy and absolutely perfect for a date night," Miss Kisha T can't wait to return.
