Fort Worth Yelpers Hit Solid Gold @ The Gold Standard!

Because nothing glitters quite like the obvious (gold!), Fort Worth Elite yelpers shimmied into their best golden gear and headed down to the appropriately named Gold Standard for our first-ever Gold Party. Solid!

"Wow...My first Elite Event...Epic" spun Heather S. "This divey little bar is a diamond in the rough!" Thanks to Coors Original yellabellies from Tenth & Blake and high-octane libations from Partida Tequila (jalapeno infused anybody?), the good times rolled and it was almost expected when the Gold Standard Minotaur wandered in for photo ops, it only seemed fitting. 

And Harry O ascended into the evening: "I have only read about Minotaurs being a Greek Myth, but I must say I partied with one on this fantastic night and I wasn't dreaming. The gold, and yellow theme was a kickass idea. At the end of the night, I ended up with a crown (oh the joys of belonging to royalty). And I LOVED the shot (Jalapeno Infused Partida Blanco, Agave Nectar, Lime), the slow burn after downing it was a good touch. I love anything spicy. This was my fav!"

Ultimately, maybe it was David P who summed it all up: "Yelp is hitting on all cylinders in the 817!!!"
