Sunday evening, Buffalo Elite's descended upon D'Avolio's Kitchen in Williamsville for Oil and Water: Yelp Mixes It Up At D'Avolio's! The event featured hundreds of olive oils to mix and match, locally juiced fermented and hand-crafted wine from Chateau Buffalo and delicious brewed teas from TeaLeafs. Yelpers basked in the variety and flavor explosions abounded!
We enjoyed everything "from your pesto, tampanade, and caponada, fresh and delicious antipasto tray, crunchy and yummy vegetables and dip, all of the wonderful pizzas.... and the perfect beans-and-greens soup," recalls Jody G, "I loved everything I tried!" We even had an unexpected surprise... "the serving of the Balsamic vinegar over ice cream. Joyce A "never knew that was even possible!"
The exquisite teas and wines added a depth to an already electic mix of goodies. Theresa R thought the "roasted almond" from TeaLeafs "was awesome" and Katie P exclaimed that seeing TeaLeafs at the event "made me so happy! And even happier to learn that they are open one night during the week until 7 so she can stop in after work!" Mark S loved the locally-made 999 with loganberry wine from Chateau Buffalo which he plans on buying and taking home.
The enclosed patio with heaters and the intimate space that D'Avolio's offers, tickled Bethany M's fancy as she's "always looking for good place to plan business lunches and this will absolutely impress." Jamie T appreciated the helpfulness and know-how of the staff, even how they were able to explain "the antioxidant properties" in the oils.
Healthy, delicious and educational. Who could ask for more? A huge thank you to the entire D'Avolio's Team, Carl from Chateau Buffalo and Syd from TeaLeafs for their astounding team work and dedication to making this a wonderful outing. And a huge thank you to Paul Fanara from Living in the Buff Studio's for covering the beautiful photography!
