Yelp's Blue Ribbon Bash at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery was everything a Yelp elite event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin should have been. Community, historic preservation, pizza, pasta, and artisan chocolates, VIP tours, and of course, beer!

After socializing, games, and independent exploration of this breathtaking space (including that charming beer garden!) we indulged in Times Square's (oh-so-beloved on Yelp) pizza, pasta, rolls, and more. Then, Sean (owner of Times Square) took it up a notch with some of his artisan chocolates. Holy amazing!

After that? A presentation by one of Best Place's owners Jim Haertel featuring Will Ferrell clips, historic beer commercials, how it all began, and plans for the preservation and future of Best Place. (Our crowd was captivated!) Then? VIP tours of the space itself... so so cool.

More Free-B-R, the king of Beer (Gambrinus, pictured above), and good times with great folks that love the Mil and stellar spots such as these... what more could one ask for on a Friday night? I loved this event; for me, it was the culmination of all the things that Yelp Milwaukee truly is: community love for the past, excitment about the future of the four-one-four, and appreciation of the present awesomeness that is MKE. Heartwarming, and oh-so-much fun!
