Yelp's Moulin Rouge @ Bogies

Tuesday evening proved to be a night to remember for LA West Elites who came out to partake in Yelp's Moulin Rouge. The gorgeous Bogies of Westlake Village opened their patio with a view of fountains and the golf course, just for Elites on this warm summer evening.

A live jazz trio set the stage and several specialty cocktails followed by an endless buffet with dishes like homemade pizzas and aracini balls kept this party popping! Debbie H shares, "They had an entertaining live band playing, it was the perfect kind of music: a guitar, drums and cello. They play every Tuesday night and since this place is almost in my backyard I will definitely be back to enjoy their tunes, the food and the awesome atmosphere."

Kevin B was particularly pleased by the buffet spread: "The food offered to us was delish! Four different scrumptious handmade pizzas, baby potatoes with a grainy mustard dipping sauce, hummus, a very yummy green salad, and a fried rice ball with a heavenly I-have-no-idea-what-it-was-sauce, wow!"

 

Zico coconut water was there to keep everyone hydrated in the 80+ degree weather.

The highlight of the night was Fire Groove's live performance of fire dancing in beautiful handmade costumes and body paint. They twisted and twrilled with fire that felt hotter than the sun! Todd O admits, "The fire dancers... That was hot (literally)!  And they did an encore toward the end of the evening for those who didn't get a great view the first time."

Chris G sums up the night perfectly: "Wow! The band was great, really classy, coupled with FIRE, how can you go wrong? Food and drinks were great, as was the venue, which was beautiful. And last but certainly not least, there were a bunch of hot yelpers! If this is an indication of YELP event, send me to every single one of them!"

Wow! What a great even this was! The food and drinks were very good, the view awesome, and the entertainment fantastic! Fire Groove was amazing!

I took a video of their first performance of the night in case anybody missed (or wanted to relive) it!
