Livin La Vida Fresca Tres: The Final Sacramento Fiesta!
Chevys took the Sacramento elites out with a bang on Wednesday night during Livin La Vida Fresca Tres at Chevys Elk Grove. The third and final of three consecutive weekly elite events did not dissapoint, as Chevys once again put 110% into making sure our Elk Grove area elites were satiated on all levels!
Just like during the previous events at Chevys on the River and Chevys Rocklin, Elk Grove spoiled us with a parade of edible offerings from their revamped menu. This included tray after tray of shrimp, chicken and steak skewers, chicken and beef taquitos, mouth-watering crab and shrimp flautas. In the words of Sandy Y, "The food and drinks kept coming and there was no holding back! I will come here again for the hospitality."
The drinks were also free-flowing and filled with generous amounts of tequila thanks to the folks at El Jimador. Yelpers slurped down Chevys huge, famous margaritas in multiple flavors, fruity shots and what was called a "Bulldog" - basically a margarita with a mini-Corona attached for extra flavor and kick."The Watermelon Margarita/Bulldog was delicious and HUGE, recalls Stephanie T. "My friend and I actually shared one, and we still didn't finish it!" Dustin R notes that "Crown imports (Corona, Pacifico, Negro Modelo) was also on hand handing out shwag. Its nice to see that kind of support from the higher levels for an event." El Jimador even had an ice sculpture of their logo, perfect for cooling shots in an instant!
For a firsthand recap, sit at the knee of Elite James W: "I had a great time at this, my 2nd yelp elite event! Plenty of free margaritas, bulldogs, mixed drinks, and ice chilled shots. Some good aps too, like shrimp skewers and seafood flautas. Plenty of swag, including stickers, a CD, a Chevy's free entree coupon, and enough bottle openers to make me consider starting a collection! The entire Chevy's staff was very friendly too, and they made a very good impression!" We have no doubt that great impression will spread like wildfire!
