Yelp's Summer Snazzy Jazzy Soiree

Yelp Hampton Roads Elites and their +1s got to kick it for a very relaxing (and super fun) gathering at Havana Nights Jazz & Cigar Club in the heart of the Virginia Beach Town Center.

Folks started off the evening by participating in a meet your fellow Yelper contest that spanned throughout the evening. Yelpo, like Bingo, w as the name of the game and the first two people to a “full card” walked away with a bag full of Yelp schwag.  

As Yelpers entered the Jazz Room they were graciously greeted by Bert Lowry, the General Manager of Havana Nights, who was mixing up sexy mojitos, educating Yelpers on various types of liquors and even taught us how to “spank our mint.” After grabbing drinks, Yelpers were off to food tastings from the kitchen. How good does slow roasted tomato bruschetta, ceviche and cubano on skewers sound? Specialty cocktails... Oh so good food... Yelpers in the mix... Can it get any better? But of course! On top of all the eating, drinking, mixing and mingling, everyone got to enjoy the live jazz sounds local artists, pianist Justin Kauflin and vocalist Charles Darden.Congrats to first time Yelper Jamie S and Elite Squad member Julia A. These ladies were obvious Yelpo hits at this party as they were the first to full cards and winners of awesome Yelp schwag.
