Yelp's Bow Ties & Bonnets Garden Party in Salt Lake City
On a beautiful July evening, Yelp's Elite Squad in Salt Lake City gathered for a good old-fashioned summer garden party. The site for the event was the Grateful Tomato Garden, a shared urban community garden run by local non-profit Wasatch Community Gardens.
Once the dapper gang had assembled, Elites and their guests were treated to three-ingredient organic bread from the brand new Breadsong, an up and coming home bread delivery service in Salt Lake. They topped the bread with heirloom tomatoes from Adam's Heirlooms and the urban farmer himself was on hand to taste test new tomato varieties and share some garden knowledge with green-thumbed yelpers. Local treasure The Tea Grotto was there with terrific teas to taste, and to talk about their new location just blocks from the garden.
With mint juleps and refreshing fruited lemonades in hand, yelpers took to touring the garden, talking about their summer fun and learning about the work and programs of Wasatch Community Gardens. With big summer bonnets and a bevvy of bow ties, it was a picture of pure warm weather perfection!
Check out the reviews written by the dashing party guests, as well as a few pics of all the fun.
Until next time,
