Yelp SF's Barbary Coast Party @ Wayfare Tavern
San Francisco. When you say the name what comes to mind? Gold. Rush. The Barbary Coast. Chef Tyler Florence welcomes you, along with the Yelp SF Elite Squad, to consider another defining piece of this city's rich history: Wayfare Tavern. The Elite Squad roared into the night for a special late night Saturday event. When the clock struck midnight you'd think it was 1850 all over again.
Fried chicken. Now say it again, but with this emphasis: Chef Tyler Florence's fried chicken. Deviled eggs & steak burrata crostini, tuna tartare, house herb-infused potato chips, &, more fried chicken, this gastropub fare defines what it means to be a gastropub to pair with the Cordova, a house cocktail, rich wines & refreshing pilsner.
Go ahead, you can scroll back up for the fried chicken again. Then, below is none other than Tim "The Dragon" Chin, professional billiards trick shot artist. He wowed the crowds with his artistry & gave Elites a (successful!) shot at trying his tricks.
When the Elite Squad found out this party was going to be romping past midnight on the Barbary Coast Trail, they knew they had to lace up their corsets & Edwardian courting attire to properly get Barbary.
An enormous thanks goes out to the Wayfare Tavern team who welcomed three floors of guests and made their way through the crowds to welcome the Elite Squad through the night.
