Yelp Memphis Gets Styled at Sache!
Over 35 Memphis Elites got their creative juices flowing at Yelp Elites Get Styled On South Main! Yelpers spent the evening at Sache in the South Main Arts District downtown getting their design on!
Eric Evans, Sache co-founder, demonstrated his famous live, hand cut, t-shirt corset and then took Elites step by step through the design and screen print of their very own t-shirt! Each yelper picked their own word and font to represent Memphis Elites, burned the template, chose their shirt and screen printed away!
You can't get your creative juices flowing without some yummies and libations! The Green Beetle served up some mighty fine food to fuel all that fun! Catfish bites, meatloaf sandwiches on fresh icebox bread with barbecue mayonnaise, chicken and veggie quesadillas, homemade lasagna and brownies were on the menu, making sure Elites were stuffed to the gills. Kyle W gives a round of applause for the meatloaf. "They threw down a serious gauntlet with the sandwiches, every time I think I get my meatloaf game right, I taste a better one!" Budweiser provided Elites with limited edition bottles of Beck's beer featuring six artists who's designs for the labels were chosen based on the originality of their accomplishments in the artistic and graphic design world.
Colleen G put it best, "I'm super pumped to be part of Yelp Elite! Thanks to our gracious hosts for a truly unique experience!" Huge thanks to the awesome skills of Melissa Kaye of MKaye Photography for fab shots of this truly unique event. Until next time...
