Yelp Dallas's Late Night Extravaganza Pajama Party!
Last Thursday, July 28th, Dallas Elites united at the newly opened Olivella's for a Late Night Extravaganza Pajama Party. Once the clock struck 10pm, pajama-clad Yelpers dined on delicious pies, lasagna and sandwich samplers while sipping on some sensational sangria, beer, and wine.
Pizza from the likes of pepperoni, margherita, and the highly noted 'Dream' Pizza - fully loaded with mozzarella, gorgonzola, tomato sauce, pancetta, and jalapeno. But Hena K's favorite "had to be the dessert pizza with nutella, apples, melted marshmallows, and walnuts." For a little slice of heaven, Brian Q recommends the "truffle pizza and the chicken, jalapeno, & bacon pizza." Plus, "the lasagna was surprisingly good - noodles weren't overcooked and the sauce tasted super fresh. Olivella's staff was very friendly and kept the food and drinks in copious supply."
To accentuate the pajama party mood, board games such as Twister, Pictionary, and Candyland were played, but it had to be the sleeping bag races that really captured the slumber party scene.
Yelpers cheered on the brave souls ready to compete for the 'Yelp' Gold. In the Olympic spirit, things got pretty competitive as they aspired to go home victorious. As yelpers raced their way to the finish line, Michael C helps us remember: "the lesson we learned that night, when they tell you to "hop" in the sleeping bag race, then hop; don't run" Plus – winners that 'hopped' their way to victory went home with Texas Theatre memberships!
Thank you so much for the always-amazing Olivella's at Hillside Village for opening up their doors late night so us crazy Yelpers could connect with a great local business and have a whopping good time doing it.
