New Orleans Yelpers Park It and Picnic!
On Saturday, Elites celebrated the heat and humidity under the majestic Tree of Life at The Fly for Yelp's Perfect Potluck Picnic. We put Elites to the test of bringing their most Perfect Potluck Picnic Provisions, which included an array of slaws and salads, chili, chips, gazpacho, Pasta and more. Pimm's Cups and Arnold Palmers helped keep us all cool as the cucumbers that garnished them.
Pleying with bubbles, climbing trees, relaxing on blankets under the Pristine Spanish moss, you can't get more idyllic for a summer Saturday. It was an intimate gathering, with a bunch of new faces, even some visiting from far away Places. This really afforded just about everyone to get to know each other really well, as Re H puts it, "perfect for a newish member who is loving Yelp!" The "After-Picnic" went on through the night at nearby cigar/Cuban jazz bar, Dos Jefes, where even more folks joined up to keep the festivities going well into the wee hours of the night!
