Yelps Karaoke-Battle @ Myjajji Karaoke

Nothing I can say, a total eclipse of the heart... She's like the wind through my tree, she rides the night next to me, she leads me through moonlight... Fighting fire with fire, burning down da house... So oder so ähnlich muss das Karaoke Medley der Yelper von außen geklungen haben. Wir hatten die MyJajji Karaoke Bar ganz für uns, das heißt zwei (nahezu) schalldichte Kabinen, um unsere Gesangskünste zum Besten zu geben, drei Kickertische, die im Übrigen auch für Ligaspiele geeignet sind samt einer Bar und einer Tischtennisplatte. Ab 19 Uhr trudelten die ersten ein, die den Absprung von der Arbeit geschafft hatten. Bis knapp 1 Uhr (was für unter der Woche eine ganz gute Leistung ist!) wurde gesungen, gekickert ohne Unterbrechung und getrunken. Wir konnten sogar die ersten EM Spiele hautnah mitverfolgen: Deutschland gegen Italien. Spannung pur war das!

Wer sich sportlich so dermaßen ins zeug legt, braucht natürlich auch etwas Stärkung. Die gab es in Form von selbstgemachten Cupcakes, natürlich in der yelpigsten aller Farben: Rot! Knabberzeug brauchten vor allem die, mit den schwachen Nerven, denn was auf den Kickertischen ablief, war ein echter Krimi! Die Stimmung zu Beginn wurde mit Vodka-Shots und Sekt gelöst, hat gut geklappt, denn schon nach kurzer Zeit waren die Karaoke-Kabinen in Dauerbenutzung.

Ein rundum schöner Abend. Vielen Dank an Gianni und das MyJajji! Peter und Maria haben uns den ganzen Abend hinreißend versorgt, ihr wart super. Es hat mich riesig gefreut so viele bekannte und neue Gesichter zu sehen. Denkt dran, noch eine Bewertung zu schreiben. Fighting fire with fire, burning down da house... Well you get the idea, we sang karaoke. It was about time again to gather Berlin Yelpers for a fun night out. And turns out: we don't need much to be happy. Give us a karaoke bar, tabletop football and ping pong et voila, there you got a bunch of happy Yelpers! The supposedly soundproof karaoke booths turned out not to be soundproof enough for our voices. While some were battleling in the two booths, some others witnessed a pre-round of the European Championship: Germany vs Italy.

To calm down our nerves after this nervwrecking match we had some homemade cupcakes in the yelpiest of all colours: Red! An evening like this, with Vodka and some sparkly basically requires something salty as well, so obviously we had some salty snacks as well.

All in all a fantastic evening thanks to Gianni and MyJajji! Peter and Maria took amazing care of us the whole evening, thank you so much! It was great seeing so many of you, some of the "old" faces but also plenty of new faces! Don't forget to write a review about the karaoke evening.
