Portland Elites Prove The Sequel Can Be Better Than The Original @ Cinetopia 2.0!

Yelp Elites walked the red carpet for the second time in 2012 as we kicked off the opening of one of the most advanced theaters in America at Cinetopia's new Vancouver Mall digs for Yelp's Night @ The Movies 2.0 - Bride of Cinetopia! Around 60 elites and their lucky guests were treated to an hour long reception in one of Cinetopia's swank movie parlors, followed by tours of the movie theater from the mastermind himself and a movie of their choice! 

At 6:30pm Yelpers were invited in to one of Cinetopia's four luxe Movie Parlors that was laid out just for us. The spread presented by Cinetopia's Brewtopia restaurant was epic, stocked with a heavy array of apps including skewers, crab rangoon, fruit platter, hummus platter, caprese platter and more. The servers from Cinetopia poured up glasses of red and white wine, as well as some tasty local micros. After learning about the revolutionary sound and projection offered at Cinetopia, Yelpers were treated to a movie of their choice in one of Cinetopia's GXL Auditoriums, Living Room Theaters or Movie Parlors. Those that had to wait for a movie start enjoyed more cold brews from one of the 50 taps in Brewtopia.Oh, and big props to those who dressed for the theme: Best/Worst sequels. From Boba Fett to Austin Powers to Men In Black III, we saw some awesome costumes!

As Kayta L succinctly states: "It was incredible. My world has been changed. I'm in love." So are we! And that's thanks in big part to Rudyard, Megan and the awesome folks at Cinetopia; Mantern Kevin K; and of course the Portland Yelp Elite Squad, without whom this wouldn't be possible. You don't have to take it from me.
