LA West Elites Taco Tuesday Tasting

This Tuesday proved to be quite the feast for LA West Elites at the Pink Taco in Century City. This was an Elite only, exclusive affair with over 10 courses! We are still full... Literally. Read the reviews here!

50 elites came out to taste the menu items prepared by Pink Taco's executive chef. For starters, guacamole and salsa is a must in any Mexican restaurant, but they went way above the norm with seafood towers that would impress and fish aficionado. Crab, shrimp, mussels and clams were piled a foot high. Next came the individual plates - eight of them to be exact!

Cynthia A was swooning, "The Sweet Corn Tamales were warm and melted in my mouth. Really enjoyed the combo flavor of the queso fresco, grilled corn, and crema."  Tiffany D found another favorite: "Mini tostada salad was delicious! Great mix of flavors and blending tastes. Tostada was crispy but not over fried, just enough to compliment the cute little pile of veggies on top."

Meanwhile Christine T enjoyed "Carne Asada- marinated cilantro jalapeño skirt steak ( perfectly grilled with a nice pink color. Very tender and juicy!)" 

Their head bar tender gave us all cocktail lessons and Anne A loves all the new improvements: "tasty and love that they are now "farm-to-table" and creating quality cocktails by mixologists. It shows with the the passion from our "bartender" who schooled us on tequila tasting."

Kenneth S sums it up nicely, "This event was all kinds of amazing! The continuous flow of delicious food, strong and tasty drinks, care and attention from the Pink Taco staff, then you're sent home with a $50 gift card! Wow! At one point during dinner, I had to take a silent moment of self reflection to figure out what positive karma influencing act I did in the past to deserve this!" You're elite Kenneth!
