The weather Gods smiled on us Sunday as hundreds of Yelpers made their way to The Bernard Shaw to enjoy Yelp Dublin's third Yelper Party, this one was themed Yelp's Backyard Bazaar!
The Corner Bakery dished out loads of tasty treats and the bread & butter pudding went down a storm! Gareth & James from Brother Hubbard had everyone raving about their food or as Edel N said in her review, "your orange blossom butter rocks!"
Burrito & Blues as usual were a crowd favourite as Hazel M stated in her review of the event, 'I had a veggie burrito and it was delicious. But oh that guacamole! Holy moly!' Peter L tucked into Accents Coffee & Tea Lounge's 'dark chocolate squares.' The Big Blue Bus had people lining up for a taste of them remarked Alex D, 'kudos to them for trying valiantly to keep up with demand - I'll definitely be back to take advantage of their pizza & pint deal!' Mmm pints!
Beer blogger Reuben G summed up wonderfully why these Yelp events exist, 'The highlight for me was while I was chatting to Stephen from Trouble Brewing, an elderly lady came up. She was very excited because she does not usually drink beer but a sip of Dark Arts was an eye opener. She started talking about how wonderful and tasty it was to others in the queue.'
Bavaria brought a range of beers and the non-alcholic options went down a treat for everyone as did Keith the vendor, nice eye candy! Hop Head's rich taste got everyone in a tizzy. Shane Gillen wandered through the crowds surprising people with magic tricks. The Princes Of Lagos had everyone in stitches with their comedic antics. Finishing the afternoon off was the raffle for the Itsa Bagel hamper and gift cards, it was a wonderful prize for the lucky folks!
