Yelp's Northern Exposure Elite Event

Words can't even begin to describe the breathtaking beauty of Nick's Cove this past Sunday. Yelp Elites basked in the North Bay sun to drive out to the absolutely darling Nick's Cove located on the secluded, silvery shores of Tomales Bay adjacent to Point Reyes National Seashore.

Attendees were able to explore Nick's Cove's picturesque cottages adorned with Pendelton blankets and private decks which overlooked an oasis of green rolling hills, classic Northern Californian fog, and lapping waves to lull you to sleep. 

After exploring the wonder of the waterfront cottages, yelpers gathered  outside around a long rustic wood table for a truly formidable array of gloriously fresh bites, including barbequed raw oysters, deviled eggs with duck confit, buttery dungeness crab crab mac n cheese, delicate marinated chioggia beets, goat meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce with pickled cabbage, hot beef skewers with a chimichurri sauce, glorious garlic truffle fries and Nick Cove's own take of the quintessential California's It's It - the Nick's It - with oatmeal raisin cookies with vanilla ice cream and chocolate.

To accompany the mouth-watering array of appetizers were hand concocted Charbay's tequila and vodka margaritas and grapefruit and ginger and cocktails  The grapefruit juice was hand-squeezed and the ginger added just the right edge for the phenomenal drinks. As the fog started to roll in, yelpers made their way indoors and crowded round Nick's Cove charming fire and celebrated the unique charm of Nick's Cove.
