Yelp Dallas Basked in A Brewtiful Afternoon

The warm rays of the Texas sun descended on us a little early this past spring Saturday as the Dallas Elite Squad was summoned to the 4-month old, first Dallas local brewery - Deep Ellum Brewing Company. The brand-spanking new beer garden was successfully ushered in by the elites who were lucky enough to get the first peek of the beautiful patio lined with lush plants, populated with adorable picnic tables, and complete with a stage fit for the best local musical talent around.

Attributing the laid-back vibe of the venue, guests were graciously greeted by local musician, Cameron Ernst - who serenaded the crowd with his original soulful tunes and clever recreations of cover songs, as well. After taking in the atmosphere, elites were led to where the magic happens - a behind the scenes tour of the brewery. Learning all about how the celebrated suds are created, we were ready to quench our thirst. On tap was a collection of carefully crafted Deep Ellum Brew – Rye Pilsner, IPA, Blonde Ale, and the Double Stout. Megan S raves "the IPA and Blonde were my favorites."  But for Benjamin L his "favorite was a tie between the Blonde and the Double Stout with its choclately-coffee undertones."

Among the collective fun chatter and spirits, guests were prompted to pose for a Polaroid photo opp to document the hoppening time with their old and new elite buds. Strung along the twine of the Polaroid wall, Yelpers - along with their Deep Ellum Brewing Co. customized pint glass - were able to take home a little piece of picture memorabilia! Super elites, Brian Q and Megan S were also snapping snazzy shots throughout the event. Check out their pics below:

Jen B sums the Brewtiful afternoon up perfectly: "The live music was relaxing and not too much and it was easy to hold conversations with other. I also love my polaroid, cute idea to remember the event! Take a peek at the pics, peruse the reviews, and, if you attended, contribute to the event's story with your witty ways. Happy April to y'all, and until the next moment of merriment...
