London Elites Dipped In Chocolate
"Come with me, and you'll be, in a world of pure imagination…"
Last night the London Elite Squad flocked to Hotel Chocolat's first Roast & Conch store, in Covent Garden, to experience an evening of decadent chocolate treats, warming cocoa drinks and flutes of chilled Prosecco.
Elites were led to the lower-ground café where trays of Salted Caramels, 66% Madagascan Buttons and Whiskey Truffles were being passed around to the soundtrack of chocolate-fuelled moans of ecstasy! These indulgent chocolates were washed down with samples of Classic Hot Chocolate, Cocoa Macchiato and Chocolate Chilli Mochas which were the perfect warming drink for the cold and rainy London evening.
Conversation flowed as easily as the chocolate and Prosecco as the Elites mingled with one another and with the Hotel Chocolat staff, who were more than happy to talk about the magic of chocolate making! Hotel Chocolat own their own plantations and this Roast & Conch store roasts its own beans and makes its own chocolate on-site! Elites were keen to take a peek at the conching machine and its chocolate-churning cogs, and a close eye was kept on Rachel J who wanted to stick her head in it!
We were lucky enough to have New York Elite in our midst who was keen to see a London event in action - I hope we impressed! We also had two first time Elite event attendees, Cecilia L and Amy S, who left in chocolate-induced comas!
