Elite Event @ Malmaison Glasgow

Take one awesome hotel that surprisingly few people know about. Add a measure of eager yelpers, a sprinkling of awesome food and finish it off with a shake in a unique event space. The result? That'll be yer April Elite Event at the Malmaison Glasgow! 

Yelpers were treated with a wee glass (or two) of wine upon entry just to keep things rolling until the cocktail masterclass kicked off. With delightful canapes making the rounds and the usual Yelp banter busting out, it took a good few clinks on the glass from event organiser supreme Sharon to draw attention to the beginning of the first masterclass... Green team go! 

With a duo of in-house mixologists on hand, yelpers watched initially as the guys knocked up a Mal/Yelp twist on the legendary Cosmopolitan. The twist? Well, for those in attendance on the night, the mystery of the 'awesome sauce' was still very much a puzzle (no sir, for the eigth time, it's not mango!). It seems though that Andrew M may have sussed it out as he tucked into his self made 'passionator cocktail'. 

As one group was shuffled out, another made their way in (red team go!) to be wowed by the skills within and indeed the mystery of the 'awesome sauce' (is it mango?). 

With yet more canapes being scoffed down with lashings of wine, cocktails from the extensive menu and more chat. Yelpers chased away the rest of the time chatting with our fantastic hosts on this night. With Natalie and Sharon from the Mal pulling out all the stops for the Yelp crew, the event proved to be a real surprise package for some, including Steven B: 'Really impressed with this joint and look forward to taking advantage of their excellent promotion which came bundled with some super swanky toiletries.'
