Yee Haw! Yelp Ft. Worth Takes Off @ T&P Tavern!
Word up Cowtown! West DFW yelpers descended from all parts to sip on some Ommegang Henepin, delight in the dulcet tones of local musician Kenny Uptain, and gaze upon the art deco wonder of the T&P Tavern, a 40s throwback tap room operating out of the old Texas & Pacific Railroad Depot. It was a classic start to a classic night, and we were all for creating our own nostalgia.
A trip back in time was certainly worth a stop for Minh N, who noted "What a fun event! I love that the bar is secluded, like Ft Worth's hidden little gem." Of course, when there are "delightfully strong" Ommegang Henepins happening, she and her friends were only too ready to take on a "nice little buzz."
And the room was buzzing too! While Foxtrot Uniform's front man strung together a constant stream of indie and classic melodies, yelpers spread out among the expansive and classic patio (that's a *huge* fan!) and mingled with one another for a west DFW first! When Ana W suggests "I've been hoping there would be an Elite event just for us here in Fort Worth! AND IT HAPPENED! I'm still wondering if it was all a dream..." Nope, Ana, not a dream. Only the beginning of one!
