Boston Elites Get Minty Fresh at Julep Bar!

Andre 3000 and Big Boi aren't the only ones feeling so fresh and so clean, clean. More than 150 Boston Elites descended upon the old Rev Rock Bar space on High Street to lounge in the remodeled, reimagined Julep for a night of hot eats, icy drinks and minty freshness!

Sporting sexy yellows and a ceiling sprouting chandeliers, Julep Bar's loungey atmosphere invited Yelp's finest to sample an assortment of passed bites, and with Smurf-haired cheflebrity Jason Santos at the kitchen's helm, circulating chow did no less than stun the crowd. Tuna tartare on crisped wontons, beef carpaccio on crostini, salt cod fritters, kobe beef sliders and buffalo duck drumsticks met the meat reqs, while Tamar A "could have downed the mushroom truffle soup with a straw."

Thirsty? Rising star in the galaxy of moonshine Dave Willis from Bully Boy sampled his signature White Whiskey (much to Jill F's swooning delight: "Seriously, local and delicious? Are we talkin' about Whiskey anymore?"), while Julep's Blood Orange Cosmos married Bully Boy's small batch vodka with Triple Sec, fresh squeezed citrus, housemade sour and a zesty, sugared rim. Worcester's own Wormtown Brewery topped the taps with frothy Seven Hills Pale Ale and a malty Irish Red, sating even the snootiest of suds snobs.

Suave sounds courtesy of KC Hallett carried the crowd through the night. Tatsu snapped freshy pics (tag 'em on Facebook!) and newly tapped Yelp Intern Virginia B kept the crowds in check. Attending Elites are showing minty review love and chatting it up on Talk, so why not join in?
