Phoenix Elites Dine Al Fresco at Province
Yelp Elites experienced the excitement of the growing Downtown Phoenix by joining fellow friends for a Party on the Province Patio at the Downtown Phoenix Westin. During the evening with perfect weather and not a cloud in the sky, elites gathered for an foodie-filled evening of delightful cuisine, delicious cocktails and a couple surprises along the way!
Elites began the night by making a donation or dropping off much-needed items for the annual Yelp Phoenix Adopt-A-Family through the Labor and Community Service Agency. In just one evening, Yelp Phoenix raised over $100 for the family and collected several bags full of gifts and essentials. Following the Adopt-A-Family drop-off, elites entered the party with their own brand new Yelp shot glass and were immediately greeted by the wait staff waiting with trays of complimentary sangria, wine and beer!
Throughout the party, Migues Ivery from Afro Baile Records spun some Brazilian inspired tunes while elites caught up with old pals and met new ones as they participated in a recipe exchange. All the chatting can make a yelper hungry, so luckily Province was ready with four food stations and plenty of passed appetizers! Elites munched on favorites such as the fish tacos, tortilla soup, sliders, dipping cheese, Caprese salad, Beet salad, an anti-pasta platter, meatballs, churros with chocolate sauce, cupcakes, ice cream... and that's just naming a few!
What's an elite party without a raffle? Not an elite party at all, if you ask us! Luckily the party at Province was no exception and some lucky elites were chosen to partake in a special cocktail mixing demonstration. They mixed Province's version of a Mint Julep while other elites looked on and tasted passed samples. To follow the theme of cocktails, a handful of other elites won tickets to the Phoenix Tequila Festival that comes to town on the 10th. However, everyone was a winner because Province surprised the group by passing out $20 vouchers to every guest for their next visit to Province!
