A Yelp Family Reunion In Salt Lake City

Summer is the season of picnics, barbecues, and terrible family get-togethers. To say goodbye to summer and prove that not all family functions end with Uncle Ron running through the backyard looking for his pants, Salt Lake City yelpers got together for their own Yelp Family Reunion.

   

After grabbing a couple of cold beverages, it was time to kick the sibling rivalry into high gear for the Random Family Olympics, complete with games like Yelpholes, watermelon seed spitting, and of course the next big thing: Sholf. (Y'know, Shoe Golf). These games made for intense competition, riotous laughter, and some hilarious pics.

     

     

With Adam's Urban Eden on hand with ripe heirloom and heritage tomatos, the Tomato Tastin' contest stumped a few family members, but everyone voted "tasty" when it came time for tomato sandwiches.

   

Penny Ann's Cafe came with their already-legendary pies and the yelper families reached deep inside of their review prowess to put together a few poetic pie-kus.

 

With the sun setting on summer and this family reunion, the Olympic victors crowned, and some serious prizes given away every agreed: they love their Yelp family!
