Yelp Baltimore's FIRST Elite Event: "Yelp's Turkish Temptation"
Who knew Baltimore Elites were so sexy?! Yelp Baltimore's FIRST-EVER Elite Party nearly set the room on fire with fierce dresses, decked-out dudes, a kick-ass DJ, and one amazingly mystifying belly-dancer with a sword-balancing-on-her-head finale!!!
Couple all of that that with a table full of Turkish delights (including favorites like Sigara Borek), a three-tiered stand packed with craving-inducing cupcakes, and signature "Yelpquila" cocktails and you have got yourself "Yelp's Turkish Temptation!"
Kit H. caught "Temptation fever" early in the night after "manhandling much hummus and knocking back supremely smooth (Body By Donovan) Casa Noble Tequila mixology. The cupcakes courtesy Oooh So Sweet Cakery & Cupcakery were moist, très sweet, and scrumptious" and fit Erica C's fancy as well. She especially loved the little Yelp bursts and logos on the frosting, which of course made each bite sweeter for our dear Yelp Baltimore Elites!
Elites and their guests entered Cazbar's smokin' upstairs lair, iLounge, and were transported to another land. Dozens of ornate, glass Turkish lanterns hung above their heads in one room while they ate, drank, and danced.
In another, a"photo booth" studio with über-talented Kate Bailey Photography was set up, as well as Yelp Turkish Temptation's "hookah lounge." Definitely made for a confluence of crazy pics with a dose of chillness.
The bar stayed packed. A morning-after Jessica T confessed she would be laying down "with some frozen Yelp shot glasses on her eyes to reduce the puffiness." Sinfully sweet, my Baltimore Elite. You truly lived up to "Yelp's Turkish Temptation" spirit!
