Yelp Triangle's Mystical Masquerade
There wasn't a masked-less yelper in the house at Vivace on Sunday night. From New Orleans-styled feathered numbers to glittery gilt pieces, mysterious adornments were the name of the game.
Vivace matched the showiness with a menu that had Michelle M gushing, "We were impressed by the clean, modern decor -- but the food was outstanding!" It's not every day you get to graze on a never-ending supply of tuna tartare, arancinis, and fried oysters.
We have to deem The Mad Housewife "Coolest Chaperone Ever." She chatted with the crowd, dazzled in her dress, and brought her delicious wines to share. Yelpers lapped up Merlot and Chardonnay, and positively guzzled the line's new Besitos Sweet Wine.
In between catching up with old Elites and meeting new ones, yelpers tapped toes to DJ Galdytron, and were stunned by the acrobatics of AcroEntertainment. Daring balancing acts, sexy hooping, and skilled poi twirlers were among the avant-garde acts...
Of course, Yelp photog -- Shon Williams of Shon Digital Photography -- was there to capture all the glitz and goodness with formal "prom" portraits (minus the bad hairdo you sported in junior high!). And the extraordinary Mike Patterson snapped the night away. Check out the full album right here.
We have to give extra special thanks to Jay Spungin and the entire Vivace staff for all of their hard work leading up to and at this event. You guys are true professionals! Thank you so much for hosting us.

Until we make merry again, I'll SYOY!
