Denver Yelp's Midsummer Night's Dream!
On a balmy Saturday evening 500 yelpers and their guests gathered at Eden to celebrate the sizzling Yelp's Midsummer Night's Dream! Guests explored the beautiful labyrinth of a venue, discovering a forest of fun, food, and merriment around every corner.
Plenty of eats abounded including decadent waffles with fresh cream from Waffle Brothers, tasty sandwiches from The Uber Sausage, sweet and savory treats from Route 40 Argentinian Grille, vegetarian fare from Eden, pork belly sliders and mahi mahi wontons from Rialto Cafe, a wide variety of samples from Whole Foods - Capitol Hill, Kind Bars, soft serve ice creams from KD Supply courtesy of Hockenbergs, and alcohol infused mini cupcakes from Yours Truly Cupcake.
Our DJ, the Postman kept the tunes bumping on the dance floor and the music was so irrestible that even one yelper on cruches had to bust a move! All that heat left yelpers with some seriously dry throats. Luckily the folks over at Funkwerks, Wynkoop Brewing Company, Craveira Wines, Platinum Vodka, Honest Tea, and SoBe were on hand to quench the thirsts of yelpers.
No midsummer night is complete without a bevy of whimsical entertainment! Yelpers received airbrush tatooes, henna, and face painting from Fanciful Faces, pyschic readings from Andye Murphy, Rock 'N Roll Shaman and Wade Wilson Insights, watched magic performed by Shawn Preston from Open The Trapdoor Entertainment, got tinsel put in their hair from Salon Utopia, and clowned around in the photo booth by Adam Russell Photography all while surrounded by beautiful floral arrangements courtesy of Alan Perry Floral.
Make sure that you check out the rest of the photos of the evening and from the photo booth, read over the reviews of the event, or chime in on Talk about the event! Plus, we have this fantastic video of highlights for you to watch thanks to SWaT Production.
As the bard wrote himself, "parting is such sweet sorrow" but until I see you again I'll be sure to SYOY (See You On Yelp)!
