Yelp Providence's White Hot Steamy Summer at The Avery!
Providence Elites got back into the swing of things after a loooong hiatus, and beat the heat at The Avery on Wednesday night!
Bar Master JR kept with the theme of the evening and his trio of featured cocktails were... WHITE! Yelp Elites sipped on St. Germain and Sauvignon Blanc White Sangria that Jennifer H found "refreshingly different" and perfect for the hot and steamy weather. Kisha T "heavily enjoyed" the very exotic Albino Old Fashioned, mixed with Death's Door white whisky, orange bitters, agave nectar and a splash of soda water, while the "phenomenal" RumChada Tiramisu cocktail kept Erin R happy all night.
Gorgeous and amazing floral arrangements of lilies, orchids and hydrangea created by Jephry Floral Studio festooned the bar and kept the summer vibe alive. White Cheddar and Bouchon cheese platters from the Farmstead cheesemongers kept Elites noshing into the night, and the amazing Stacey Doyle was there to snap photos of the Elites in action.
