Yelp Milwaukee's Ping Pong Madness!

Rally, set... point!

This past Thursday, May 26, Yelp elites in the four-one-four rocked Yelp's Ping Pong Madness! at SPiN in the Third Ward. Curious as to what this "madness" actually entailed? Think singles and doubles tournaments, an inspirational and oh-so-cheesy playlist, photobooth antics, adult root beer floats and SPiN's signature tap beer, innovative and delicious bites, plenty of sweatbands, cheers of victory and roars of defeat... do we really need to go on?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bites: SPiN's interesting menu meant, for us, an assortment of sliders and sandwiches from fried chicken on homemade biscuits to brisket sliders and reubens, brown sugar sweet potato chips and chocolate covered strawberries, and a huge charcuterie plate complete with a killer cheese log. Cheese log = awesome!

 

Hand-eye coordination a la Forrest Gump, and you win! Great prizes for tourney winners including Roaring Dan's Rum from Great Lakes Distillery, a Wisconsin-tastic gift bag from West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe, Nessun Dorma and Highland House gift certificates, Lakefront Brewery passes, BAAM at Turner Hall passes, and more!

The MKE elite squad sure does bring their A-game to the table! For real, this event was a blast, seriously. Ping pong + booze/great food + photobooth + prizes = fun times a hundred! I'm loving every minute of this crazy Yelp ride, and getting to plan events for MKE's stellar elite squad is the icing on the cake for me as CM here. Looking forward to so much more Yelp-tastic goodness here in "the good land!"
